Let's meet in October

BLOG

Scala Days 2026 is just around the corner! Next week, on 12 and 13 October, the Scala community will come together at Kulturbrauerei in Berlin for two days of learning, sharing experiences, and catching up with friends and colleagues.

The program opens with a keynote by Martin Odersky. There will also be interactive labs, giving you time to explore tools and ideas with their maintainers. Whether you use Scala every day or are getting to know the ecosystem, we look forward to welcoming you.

If you’d like to stay a little longer, two-day workshops follow on 14 and 15 October at Hotel Oderberger, with practical sessions on AI-assisted development and Safe Scala. Workshops require a separate ticket or a conference and workshop bundle.

There are also satellite events around the conference: a guided tech walk and dinner hosted by VirtusLab on 11 October, and Typelevel Traverses Berlin (waitlist) on 14 October, hosted at Zalando. Both offer more time to meet fellow Scala developers and exchange ideas.

Buy your Scala Days ticket and join us in Berlin.

If you can’t travel to Berlin, you can still follow the conference from home. Buy a streaming ticket by choosing Livestream Access in the ticket shop. Tickets cost €15 and provide access to the live conference sessions. Workshops and interactive labs are not included in the stream. You can find more details in the online attendance announcement.

There are also plenty of opportunities to meet fellow Scala developers closer to home this October. Local meetups and conferences are a lovely way to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and get to know the people behind the projects you use.
