Scala on Heroku

Heroku, the popular cloud services provider, have announced the availability of full support for Scala on their Cedar cloud platform. In a partnership with Typesafe, the Scala commercial support organisation, they are bringing easy scalable cloud deployment to Scala applications using the Typesafe Stack which includes Scala, Akka and SBT. In a partnership with Heroku, Typesafe has created an SBT plugin that simpifies the develop-build-deploy cycle on the Cedar platform.
