The Scala language was designed by Martin Odersky [1] at EPFL [2].
Several people of the Programming Methods Laboratory (LAMP [3]) are involved in its development, among them Iulian Dragos [4], Adriaan Moors [5], Gilles Dubochet [6], Philipp Haller [7], Lukas Rytz [8], Ingo Maier [9], Antonio Cunei [10], Donna Malayeri [11], Miguel Garcia [12], Hubert Plociniczak [13], Tiark Rompf [14], and Martin Odersky [15] himself.
Several visiting people and outside contributors are active in the Scala project, among them Paul Phillips [16], Miles Sabin [17], Stepan Koltsov.
External contributers are requested to sign the "Software Grant and Individual Contributor License Agreement" [18] and send it to us in order to obtain access to our Subversion repository.
