• c't magazin [1], the fourth most popular German language computer magazine, devoted six pages to an extensive article about Scala in their issue 21/2009 [1]. The article (in German) can be purchased online here [2].
   
• Javamagazin (Germany) [3], one of the most popular printed magazines within the Java community, is encouraging programmers to take a serious look at Scala in their April 2009 issue.
