10-20% performance degradation

During last week or two there were some changes in trunk which resulted

- in 10-15% degradation in my project(s) build time, and
- in 15-20% worse in behcnmarking.

Am I alone here? I'm at r21803 now.

We have seen similar things and are trying to find the cause. How do you benchmark? What is your setup?

Thanks

It's an http server ([1], own yet closed current trunk) stress-loaded with
ApacheBench [2]. In fact, the enironment is the same as one has helped to
discover [3].

IIRC, the were some message in one of Scala lists about performance recently.
