Hi,
As I'm writing this e-mail my laptop is still hot because of compiling Scala+GWT demos with -Yvirtpatmat. I briefly tested demos and they all work well. The scala library used in theses tests was also compiled with -Yvirtpatmat.
There are a few rough edges in my backend exposed by shape of trees generated by virtpatmat that need to be addressed. Apart from that, virtpatmat delivers 100% of Scala language support to Scala+GWT!
The bad news (there must be some, right?) are that virtpatmat seems to blow up the size of trees so much that the whole compilation of samples is being slowed down by around 1 minute. I'll dig into this a bit more just to make sure I didn't miss something.

Forgot about the most important: thanks to Adriaan Moors for working on virtpatmat. Beers will come shortly :-)
