Gridgain appears not to natively support distributed data storage in the way that HDFS does.  I'm not sure the two technologies are comparable. ?

Jay,We support (obviously) the distributed data storage but in a different way than HDFS so that it fits real-time processing much better. I've already replied to you in email with a bit more details (not to pollute this list with product-specific details). Just ping via my personal email if you need more details.
Best,--Nikita Ivanov.GridGain Systems.
