Scala Days 2012 - Live!

The Scala Days 2012 web site is live! Now you can keep up-to-date with everything about the Scala Days conference and the Barbican centre in London. More information will be added as things take shape, the program, the speakers, accommodation and so on, but you can already register for this exciting event.

If you are on a tight budget register early, the first 50 registrations are offered at half price!

Martin Odersky will be giving the keynote, an update on Scala and the future direction. Most of the EPFL Scala Research team and all of the Typesafe developers will be there too, ready to talk about latest developments and listen to your feedback on any aspect of Scala, SBT, Eclipse IDE, Akka, Play and other developer tools. There will be many other Scala experts and production developers to mix with too. If you use Scala or are thinking of using Scala this is the place to be.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Scala Days Speakers - Free entry to Scala Days

All accepted speakers will be given free entry to Scala Days. To ensure a top quality program all talk proposals will be reviewed. So if you have built and deployed a challenging commercial application, created a neat library, made a cool developer tool or just have a great talk then be ready to submit a talk proposal of 200 words in mid-January. We will announce how to do that after the Academic Workshop research paper submissions are complete. The complete program of 40 selected talks and research workshop presentations will be available 1st Mar 2012.

Students

To support student participation, half-price entry will be granted. You must provide a student ID while registering for the event.
