On Scala ide

Hi guys,
Let me start with shameless plug: http://twitter.com/#!/gkossakowski/status/117302855232270336
Now, I just wanted to spread good news about Scala IDE for Eclipse plug-in. Whatever info you find on the internet discussing state of IDE support for Scala is probably outdated. Eclipse support improved a lot during last couple of weeks. Let me just say that I do all of my Scala compiler hacking using Eclipse these days and it works very well. You must admit it's not the most trivial Scala project out there.
If you have some spare time on a weekend give it another try. You might be positively surprised.
Cheers to Scala IDE devs!

Re: On Scala ide

OK, I'm willing to try it again after a long, long time. Do I need to do a manual install, or can I install from within Eclipse, and if so how? And do I need to manually clear out any older version of the Scala Eclipse Plugin?
Thanks,Ken

Removing any old version of a plugin is probably a good idea. Other than that install like any Eclipse plugin. Here's update site:
http://download.scala-ide.org/releases/2.0.0-beta
you need to enter in eclipse.
