Suggestions for possible bachelor thesis regarding Scala

Hello, I'm going to do a bachelor thesis in CS/Programming and I would
like to involve the use of Scala.

I'm wondering wether you have any suggestions on what I might do? For
example possible compiler extensions or prototypes for other proposed
enhancements?
