Typesafe servers slow?

Re: Typesafe servers slow?
Hello Srirangan,
The Typesafe download files are hosted on Amazon S3, for reasons of both
high availability and ability to serve spikes in traffic; the files are
served directly by their servers.
According to their control dashboard, all is in order; so it's just them
being slow at times, I am afraid. What is the download rate that you
see? From which location?
Thanks,
Toni

Re: Typesafe servers slow?
Hi Toni,
Downloading Typesafe stack (Scala + Akka) from New Delhi, the speed via www.typesafe.com was around 25% as compared to downloading from www.akka.io
I tried across different ISPs (Tata and Airtel) here including an average speed connection at office and a high speed connection from my home.
